Hot yoga on the east side of Iowa City, Iowa.

WELCOME! Ever since I began practicing Hot Yoga, now years ago, I wanted to have a practice on the east side of town. The Universe has led me to this dream and now I welcome you to join me in hot yoga in my private studio nestled in the woods and amazingly just blocks from down town.

Martha’s Studio is located on the alley just south of Woodlawn Avenue marked with a sign:  Woodlawn Private Drive.  Woodlawn Avenue is at the east end of Iowa Avenue where Iowa Avenue and Muscatine meet.  The alley entrance is off Muscatine Avenue between Washington Street and Iowa Avenue. Traveling east (away from downtown) on Iowa Avenue, turn right onto Muscatine and then take your first left onto the Woodlawn Private Drive alley. You have to be sharp to see it.  It is banked by bushes and the sign is not a typical tall street sign but rather a low white and black sign.  Go down the alley until you see a large, green two-story garage on the left with an orange awning over an orange door on the west side that says "MARTHA'S STUDIO". You may park behind the studio, but please do not block the double garage doors. Don’t knock;  just go in and walk up and into the studio which is on the 2nd floor of the building.  If you get lost, call Martha:  319-330-9336.   (The studio is behind the residence of 1041 Woodlawn Avenue, but please come via the alley to visit the studio.  Thank you!)
