WELCOME! HOT YOGA on the east side of Iowa City, Iowa. Ever since I began practicing Hot Yoga, now years ago, I wanted to have a practice on the east side of town. The Universe has led me to this dream and now I welcome you to join me in hot yoga in my private studio nestled in the woods and amazingly just blocks from down town.

LOCATION:
The studio is behind my residence at 1041 Woodlawn Avenue, Iowa City, Iowa.  Woodlawn Avenue is a cul-de-sac at the East end of Iowa Avenue just past Muscatine Ave. Iowa Avenue runs straight east of the Old Capitol downtown; 1041 is four houses into the cul-de-sac on the right – it’s green.  See "Parking" below if you are driving.  If you're walking and coming from this Woodlawn Avenue direction, take the west walk around the house into the back yard, through the gate, under the arbor, and past the lamp post. The studio building looks like another house. It’s two stories and matches our green house. Don’t knock; just go in the door, remove your shoes at the bottom of the stairs, and walk up and in.

PARKING:  The studio is on an alley which is accessible from Muscatine Avenue not Woodlawn Avenue.  The alley entrance is the first left turn south of the Woodlawn entrance off Muscatine.  The alley heads east and is behind the houses facing Woodlawn Avenue.  From the alley, the studio appears as a green two-story garage. You may park behind the studio, but please do not block the single or double garage doors--they have "no parking" signs over them. You may park at either end of the studio, or anywhere that does not block the alley or garage doors. You may park behind the studio, but please do not block the single or double garage doors.  You may park at either end of the studio, or anywhere that does not block the alley or the garage doors. To enter the studio from the alley, take the path at the left (West), go through the gate and around the corner and in the door that faces the house. Go right in, and leave your shoes at the bottom of the stairs and walk up and into the studio.
